Zimbabwe People First leader Joice Mujuru has today shocked her party hierarchy, party followers and critics by expelling prominent party leader from the party. Notable names that have been a long time pricking thorns under her party skin included Didmus Mutasa, Rugare Gumbo and Margaret Dongo who in many occasions been credited of soldiering with her in her turmoilous days at ZANU Pf.
In a passionate letter, below Mujuru highlighted how some senior cadre have been acting suspisciously as ZANU PF agents, stalling progress of the revolutionary movement and standing in the way of people’s will. She did not hesitate to use the word “eject” to emphasise the severity of the consequencies of such impunity.
The move is widely speculated as purging her party of stumbling elements ahead of the rumour-anticipated coalition with Morgan Tsvangirai’s MDC which gnashingly demanded executive representation in the political matrimony.
