This week saw Zimbabwean representative in Big Brother Hotshots, Butterphly being put on the chopping block by her ‘friend’ Idris from Tanzania. She was up against Ellah of Uganda, Trezagah from Mozambique, Frankie from Rwanda, Permithius from Namibia and Nhlanhla from South Africa.
Malawi, with whom Zimbabwe has built a strong alliance by voting for each other’s representatives whenever they are up came through for Zimbabwe and saw Butterphly survive with two country votes as Frankie and Permithius were evicted this week.
The game is getting very real with Butterphly’s group losing the extravaganza task this week. Butterphly had three nominations to her name from Sipe, Trezagah and Maam Bea. There is a possibility that she may be up for possible eviction this week unless she wins the head of house task or if Biggie decides to leave those with 3 nominations or less off this week’s list of potential evictees. Goitse of Botswana was put up automatically because she moved during the freeze task.
We keep our fingers crossed for our girl Butterphly as the SADC alliance continues to have the most representatives in the game with 3 weeks to go. Is it better to sacrifice some representatives or try to keep them all? West Africa has two representatives and so does East Africa. SADC has ten left standing.
