There was total chaos and drama in the parliament yesterday as ZANU PF Buhera South legislature Joseph Chinotimba angrily insulted MDC Alliance leader of the house Thabitha Khumalo a prostitute.
The National Assembly was disturbed for almost 30 minutes as MPs continued to issue out insults against each other towards Chinotimba’s utterances.
Honourable Khumalo insisted that if Chinotimba would not withdraw his words she will take him to court as she wants women to be respected.
“No one has the right to call me names, I want respect, Mr Chinotimba must withdraw his statement or else I will take him to court, it’s not a crime to challenge a situation and this must stop”said Khumalo.
In reply Chinotimba said that he was the one insulted first and what he did was simply a return of those same names but he later on withdrew the statement.
Meanwhile the Minister of Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ziyambi Ziyambi insisted on not answering questions coming from the MDC alliance saying he will not respond to them if they do not recognise Emmerson Mnangagwa as president.
