The leader of ZimPF Dr Mujuru has commented on recent events and nationwide citizen protests against the fast deteriorating situation in Zimbabwe. She emphasized the need for protests to remain peaceful and that police should not use heavy handedness, but safeguard those protesting as it is their constitutional right.
In her own words Dr Mujuru said peacefulness should prevail by both parties, protesters and the government through police actions. Of late the government has sent out the riot police to put down protests with brute force resulting in many innocent victims and a volatile atmosphere that can explode at any time.
