Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) has implored against use of of violence in protest and also urged influential governments to come to the rescue of the people in Sudan.
In a Press Statement EFF said the military should allow civilians to have silent protest and demonstrations without the fear of being traumatised and harassed by the military because protest is a constitutional right.
“We condemn any use of force against a protesting people. The right to protest is a peaceful right that must be respected by any military, even in the absence of actual executives,”
EFF called upon influential governments Saudi Arabia, Arab Emirates and African Union to come and intervene in the brutal killings in Sudan by the military and to help grant the right of association
“We call on influential governments in the world, from Saudi Arabia and the Arab Emirates, to the Ethiopia and African Union to push the military council to make way for no-negotiable civilian rule,”
Sudan has been under protest of oustering their long term President Omar al Bashar who stayed so long in power. Sudanese decided to take action and ouster as he was not contributing anything in their lives
