Ferguson Films distances itself from Ndara’s accusations

Ferguson films have dismissed rumors by Vatiswa Ndara for trying to tarnish the company’s image. Ndara wrote an open letter to the Minister of Arts and Culture Nathi Mthetwa claiming that actors were being exploited in the film industry.

“With that said the allegations made by the various actors do not reflect the rue position of the industry and paints a false picture, which may mislead the public. To address some points raised by Ms Ndara and directed at FERGUSON FILMS, please note,”

Ferguson Films also appealed to Hon Mthetwa to sign the Performance Protection Amendment Bill so as to address the challenges facing actors.

“As actors ourselves we are aware of the challenges facing the entertainment industry. We support 100% a need for the industry to be regulated and for the Performance Protection Amendment Bill to be signed sooner than later,”

Ndara from IGazi series also labeled out the Ferguson Films in the letter for not paying her.
