Grace Doctorate: UZ Vice Chancellor Nyagura arrested

Unconfirmed reports claim the Vice Chancellor of the University of Zimbabwe, Levi Martin Nyagura have been nabbed around lunch today, Friday 16th February 2018.

Nyagura, of 17 Maidenhead Lane, Borrowdale is being charged under C/S 174(i)(a) Code for Criminal Abuse of Office authority.

A police report completed by one Detective Machinya, ZRP Force Number 0539279 representing the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission for the complainant, Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education noted that Nyagura criminally abused his office authority by recommending and fast-tracking the Doctorate degree of Philosophy in favour of Grace Marufu Mugabe without the approval of the University council and the Senate Committee
