“Hard work has brought me this far,”-Zim Models Awards Nominee

A local designer gives credit to hard work after he was nominated in three categories in the Zimbabwe Models Awards to be held this weekend at 7 arts in Avondale, Harare.

Praise Chitsau, 22, was nominated in the most promising, best commercial and most photogenic categories.

Chitsau said he is looking forward to be the winner in each of the three categories.

“I was not expecting it, I believe hard work has brought me this far and I am looking forward to win in all categories.

“I will continue shining since this development has boosted my confidence in my work.”

Shedding more light on his work as a designer, Chitsau said:

“I started doing designing at a tender age, I was 18-years-old and since then I have worked with most influential people like , Jah Prayzah on the Chitubu project, Zimpraise from 2016 to date, Methias Mhere, Thembalami, Mpostroi Wency, Trevor Dongo , Mac Dee, Bethany Pasinawako, DJ Tamuka, Pastor G, Freeman and Nyasha Mutonhori to mention but a few.

“ I have also worked with corporates like Eat n’ Lick, TNAM, Poly Packaging, Sunny Mealie meal, Pipeline Fashions, SAA also to mention but a few.”

As a part time musician Chitsau said he has featured Tawanda Midzi on his track ‘Neshoko’ and Nyasha Mutonhori, on her track ‘Anorarama’.
