Upcoming afro jazz and conscious music artist, Ashton Nyahora popularly known as Mbeu has released his first album titled ‘Hatizvimirire’.
The album was launched last Saturday at Pakare paye Arts Centre in Norton.
Eugene Museredza, who is the band manager, expressed his gratitude towards those who had facilitated the production of the album.
“Hatizvimirire is a phrase which explains Mbeu’s attitude, his passion to continue with music even when things are tough.”
“We are happy with the response from our fans as they have turned out in their numbers to support us and we hope for the same even in our future projects.
“We want to thank the Mtukudzi family and all those who have facilitated the production of this album.
“The album is available for sale on all Diamond Studios selling points in Harare and it is still being distributed across the country.”
Hatizvimire was recorded at Bek Ground studios in Glen Norah, Harare.
The 10 ten track album comprises of songs like Ziso, Ndione, Kuti Unzi, Hatizvimirire, Njila, Wakakosha, Mumwe wangu,Hazvineyi, Papa did you know and Handina kuziva .
The album comes after a series of single releases since Mbeu started his musical career.
On the day some of the artist who performed include Donald kanyuchi, Sarungano and many others who are being groomed at Pakare Paye Arts Centre.
