Mutodi bitter for Warriors

Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Energy Mutodi has expressed his frustration towards the Warriors who were not performing well in AFCON 2019 games.

Posting on his twitter handle Mutodi said the Warriors are helpless and its high time for Zimbabwe to recruit new players and coach. Mutodi said the Warriors had wasted the country’s funds after being beaten by Congo 4 goals to nill.

“Warriors of shame: after courting President ED to fundraise for the team, we are shocked and displeased by their dismal performance. It’s clear the coach is a spent force. Players are weak and helpless. It’s time for new players, new couch… of all teams ndombolo hit us hardest!” Mutodi said.

The Warriors were beaten by the Pharaohs 1-0 at the opening game of 2019 AFCON in Cairo. They were also hammered 4-0 by the Democratic Republic of Congo yesterday.
