Tamborinyoka demands Sikhala and Siziba release

Movement for Democratic Change Alliance Deputy Spokesperson Luke Tamborinyoka has condemned the detention of Youth leader Secretary General Gift Ostallos Siziba and Hon. Member of Parliament Job Sikhala by the Mnangagwa regime using the same tricks used by Mugabe government who abducted their opposition leaders.

Hon Sikhala and Siziba’s detention expose the Mnangagwa callous nature of Mnangagwa’s administration, which has been trying to hoodwink the oppressive regime of former President Robert Mugabe,”Tamborinyoka said.

MDC-A said the Mnangagwa regime was infringing civic human rights by arresting Siziba and Wiwa because of their for exercising their right for freedom of speech.

The detention of the two senior officials, the recent clamp-down on civil society activist and MPs have exposed the regime for what it is really is,”said Tamborinyoka.

Hon.Sikhala was supposed to appear at Harare Magistrate court but was transferred to Masvingo.

The Mnangagwa regime has arrested and detained the two after allegations that they want ouster the ruling government and for inciting violence in country.
