Mamelodi Sundowns have officially confirmed that they are in ‘ongoing talks’ with Kaizer Chiefs over the sale of Zimbabwean born football player Khama Billiat.
As reported by the Siwa crew last month, the Brazilians have been keen to try and lure back the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder just after a year he had left them.
Billiat started his career at Ajax Cape Town and rose to fame at Sundowns. According to Soccer Laduma, losing Billiat will be a big blow for Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp.
Billiat has been in demand even though the Chiefs turned down the 27-million offer from Egyptian side Zamalek.
The 28-year-old soccer player has been recovering from a knee injury sustained during a pre-season.
