SUSPECTED STATE SECURITY TRYING TO SABOTAGE ZIMPF SAKUBVA RALLY

Suspected state security and ZanuPF saboteurs are desperately trying to abuse social media to discourage Zimbabwe People First supporters and sympathizers from turning up in huge numbers at the party Star Rally taking place at Sakubva Stadium from 10am tomorrow 16th July 2016.

Party National spokesperson Mr Jealousy Mawarire has circulated a memo to the organs of the party to ignore such desperate efforts by a fast disappearing Zanu PF and concentrate on making the Mutare Rally a history making one. The response has been overwhelming and preparations well done, this is giving Zanu PF and the abused partisan state security sleepless nights. Mr Mawarire assures all builders the party is well aware of these undemocratic state organs abuse machinations and urges all party faithfuls and prospective new builders of Zimbabwe to come in their numbers to show Zanu PF the door in no uncertain terms. In briefings to party organs Mr Mawarire urged builders to remain vigilant and focused and refuse to have their attention diverted.
The Mutare Rally is expected to show in no uncertain terms that People First is now the party of choice in the province.

A Harare based analyst who asked to remain anonymous for security reasons, contacted for comment said he is not surprised at all at these state organs abuses as its now order of the day with the increasingly desperate ruling ZanuPF party. “This abuse of state organs for suppression of dissenting voices has been going on for a long time, people no longer fall for them. If anything, Zimbabweans are now well aware of them and routinely ignore them as seen with the current pressure groups and mushrooming social media agitation by ordinary citizens. So what you are seeing are the consequences of poor economic management, rampant corruption and the internal fights within Zanu PF on who will succeed Mugabe or how the party should handle the inevitable. Many within fear Mugabe who wields so much power as one center of power may die with the party. Such is the power of Mugabe that senior leaders have to be sycophantic whenever they mention his name or risk being labeled successionists, its really sad to watch the party of revolution tearing itself apart and in the process drag the whole nation down with it” he said.

We attach below the authenticated memo from ZimPF national spokesperson to the party organs regarding the attempted sabotage of the Manicaland Star Rally.
