World Health Organization (WHO) commemorates midwives of their great job of delivering and saving lives of mothers and babies.
On its twitter handle WHO said midwives were of great importance to the society as they protect the lives of women and children at birth time with caution.
“#Midwives are essential to provision of quality of care, in all settings globally. We thank all midwives for their efforts to save lives of moms and babies,”.
WHO said midwives who were educated could save most of the lives of mothers and children during birth time more than those who were uneducated without skills.

Midwives are health professionals who help women during labor and after birth.Midwives are celebrated for their good services to women and children.
