South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa said Africa is in need of support for infrastructure development
Speaking at the G7 summit in France Ramaphosa said Africa needs support and collaboration to consolidate the developments that the continent is making.
“The most important one for me is infrastructure development Africa is in need of support when it comes to infrastructure development. We need to come up with innovative and smart financing models that will enable African countries to take responsibility for their own development. It’s not that Africa want freebies, it wants support and collaboration,” the president said.
Ramaphosa was invited to the summit by France President Emmanuel Macron to discuss the problems the continent is facing.
The G7 comprises France, Japan, United States ,Germany, Italy and Canada.
