Bulawayo welcomes new female artist

The City of Kings and Queens now has a new musical queen Nyasha Muusha, after Sandra Ndebele whose work has been receiving a good reception since its release last week.

Nyasha Muusha is a pop diva also known as Ayshan who released her first single track this year titled ‘Nhliziyo Yami’ (My Heart) an Afro-house love song produced by Cydebass who is also based in Bulawayo. There is no exception as upcoming female musicians are escalating out to spread positivity.

The local music industry is believed to be male dominated, Nyasha is confident that her vocal prowess are remarkable and create space for her in the industry. “In as much as the local music seem to pay more attention to male artists, I would like to believe that I have what it takes to defy the odds” she said.

A few days ago, EarGround raised an interesting topic “Where are the female artists?”, which made female artists to stand their ground and clear the air about them seeming to be on a musical hibernation. Sandra  Ndebele has long been mentioned as the only female artist in Bulawayo hence marking the rise of Nyasha Muusha.
