Churches and Civil Society Forum Chairperson Anglistone Sibanda has called upon Chamisa to stop inciting violence or to resign as a pastor and go to war in Syria.
Speaking at a Press Conference, Sibanda said Chamisa should stop imposing violence by giving the public ideas of oustering President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his government and that he has witnessed more of threats on media including the ‘Herald’.
‘President Chamisa has been saying people must rise up and remove the government of President Emmerson Mnangagwa .If he wants a war he must resign and must go to war in Syria, ”said Sibanda.
Sibanda warned Chamisa that violence will not build a nation but will lead to destruction.
Sibanda also called upon SADC and AU to give a hand to Zimbabwe in removing sanctions which have been imposed on Zimbabwe by the United States of America (USA) are harsh on the ordinary citizens because they are suffering more than those they are supposed to target and can afford to live a good life with the harsh economy.
“As ordinary people we are fed up and tired with by ravaging economic sanctions imposed by the United States of America and allies and unequivocally call for the unconditionally removal of sanctions that are not affecting those purported to affect…,” he said.
