Speaking at the blue roof, Chamisa said apart from the differences that they have with the former President Mugabe Zimbaweans must honour  his contributions.

“Reason why we are here is to do the African thing that is expected, you are aware that Mr Mugabe had connection and relationship with us in the context of politics on the other side,”Chamisa said.

“We had many differences but beyond the differences that we had politically to save our people we have to reflect on his contributions so in line with our Ubuntu and what is expected from us from a leadership point of view we have come to pay condolences to the Mugabe family and of course to all Zimbabweans and indeed the whole of Africa,” said Chamisa.

It is alleged that Mugabe’s burial will be on Monday or Tuesday at his rural home area in Zvimba.
