Charambas starts ministry

Pastor Charles and Olivia Charamba have deserted the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe and decided to form their own ministry.

After twenty years of ministering in Apostolic Faith Mission, the gospel couple decided to move on their own and will be launching their new church, Rooted in Christ Ministries on the 4th of November 2018 at Zimbabwe College of Music in the large lecture room.

We have officially left Apostolic Faith Mission after some several considerations that followed a call mission that I received from God more than 10 years ago. The idea has been in the pipeline as we prayed and let God’s call come to fruition according to his time,” said Pastor Charamba.

Charamba went to Living Waters Bible College in 1998. He was ordained as a full time pastor in 2000 and led the A.F.M branches in Chisipite, Haticliffe and Borrowdale before he dropped some pastoral duties to concentrate more in music in 2008.

Both Pastor Charamba and his wife Olivia are gospel musicians. Their albums have been the top selling gospel music since early 2000s and he toured many countries which include the United Kingdom, United States of America and Australia among others. The couple is also known as the First Family Gospel.
