Chibaya calls for a peaceful protest

Movement for Democratic Change Alliance (MDC-A) National Organiser Hon.Amos Chibaya has called upon all Zimbabweans to join the MDC-A in peaceful protests against the ruling government.

Addressing the nation Hon.Chibaya urged civilians to come and join them in fighting against the violation of human rights by the Mnangagwa regime who have been violating their rights of having electricity and water.

“We are inviting you at Africa Unity Square at 9 O’clock as we join hands in order to free ourselves from being impoverished,” said Chibaya.

Chibaya also assured Zimbabweans that these will be peaceful demonstrations without vandalizing of any furniture and shops. Chibaya also assured Zimbabweans that police were involved in the demonstrations as they were granted the permission to do so.

MDC-A also assured that they will be drones to capture every moment during the protest so as to make sure that they will be no violence and vandalism of property.

The opposition party will take the streets on the 16th of August in Harare against unemployment, corruption and the deteriorating economy.
