Chinamasa appointed as Air Zim board chairperson

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Former Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa as board chairperson of the Air Zimbabwe.

Chinamasa has served Zimbabwe Government  as a Justice Minister before. President appointed the Zanu PF secretary for finance to the job in a statement which was released on Monday.

The appointment was jointly with that of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans’ Association secretary general Victor Matemadanda as new Zanu PF national commissar. They were both expected to start the job with immediate effect.

Matemadanda will be deputized by Douglas Mahiya who is the spokesperson for the Zanu PF aligned war veterans group.
