Government to spend 150,000 litres of fuel on solidarity march

Zimbabwe African National Union (Patriotic Front) (ZANU-PF) is set to hold a solidarity march in support of His Excellency Emmerson Mnangagwa on the 2nd of March.

In a statement Zanu Pf secretary for Commissariat Retired General Dr E.A. Rugeje said the party is going to provide 150,000 litres of fuel to bus people from all provinces to Harare for the march.

“The Commissariat Department is issuing the following fuel quantities: Bulawayo, Matabeleland North and South 10 000 Litres, Harare, Midlands and Manicaland 15 000 Litres, Mashonaland East, Central and West 18 750 Litres,” he said.

Rugeje said the Department is organising to feed the delegates in Harare and other Provinces are advised to feed their delegates before departure.

The rally was organised by the National Youth League and it is going to be held at Rainbow Towers Open Space.

However many social media commentators criticized the move saying it’s a case of misplaced priorities given the economic challenges the nation is facing.
