High Court prohibits police to interfere on doctors’ march

High Court of Zimbabwe has ordered Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) not to interfere with the Zimbabwe Hospital Doctors Association (ZHDA) march over the missing of Dr. Peter Magombeyi.

The march is in solidarity with Dr P Magombeyi who was allegedly abducted on Saturday night by 3 unidentified men.

ZLHRL has filed an urgent application to High Court on behalf of ZHDA seeking an order to bar police from interfering with their march set for Thursday.

It was reportedly said that police blocked doctors and other medical practitioners from marching into Harare Central Business District to parliament demanding the release of Magombeyi who went missing last week.
