I don’t acknowledge ED as President: Chamisa

Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa appeared before the Motlanthe Commission of Inquiry yesterday were he gave his testimony about the shooting of innocent civilians on the 1st of august this year.

(MDC) alliance leader said that he does not acknowledge Emmerson Mnangagwa as president of Zimbabwe as he went on to say that when the shooting and demonstrations occurred he was out of Harare therefore denied inciting violence, he further went on and said that he knew he won the July election so he had gone to raise his faith somewhere.

“I was called by Obert Mpofu about the situation that was in town and he said he was asked by his boss Vice President Chiwenga to do so, I wonder why they did such a thing”, said Chamisa.

Recently there are allegations against (MDC) alliance leader that he sent his supporters to stir up violence and that he had a military wing that are said to have shot six people, however Chamisa dismissed it.

Nelson Chamisa announced a demonstration date against ZANU PF and the government live on the Zimbabwe broadcasting corporation (ZBC).
