South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has travelled to Zimbabwe to pay tribute to the Mugabe family.
Malema who held a life celebration and memorial for the former late Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe arrived at R.G.M International Airport today.
The memorial service was graced by the two former ministers under Mugabe regime, Patric Zhuwao and Saviour Kasukuwere
Malema also sent his condolence message on twitter, just after he received news that Mugabe died.
“I’m saddened by the passing of our martyr and giant of the African Revolution Cde President Robert Mugabe. Let’s continue the fight and protect his legacy. We must not allow our enemies to tell us how to remember him; We know our heroes. May his Soul rest in revolutionary peace ,” said Malema.
Mugabe died in Singapore on the 6th of September 2019.
