Mohadi’s ex convicted for breaching court order

Vice President Kembo Mohadi’s ex wife, senator Tambudzani Muleya Mohadi had a 90 day jail sentence suspended after being convicted of breaching a court order that had barred her from visiting her former husband’s business properties.

Mohadi through his lawyer Norman Mugiya made an application for civil imprisonment against Tambudzani.

Presiding Beitbridge Magistrate Langton Mukwengi granted the civil imprisonment but suspended the whole term for 24 months. Tambudzani was cautioned that if she breaches the contract within the 24 months she will then face imprisonment.

Vice President Kembo Mohadi in 2017 had approached the High Court seeking nullification of his marriage with his wife, claiming that their marriage was irreparable. The couple’s divorce application was granted by the High Court in March this year.
