Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-A) Secretary General Chalton Hwende has applauded Mugabe family for following the former late President Robert Mugabe’s wish to be buried in Zvimba.
In a statement, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Nick Mangwana announced that the remains of the founding father will be laid to rest in his Zvimba rural home and the government is committed to respect the wishes of the family.
Hwende said, “The Mugabe family has made the right decision to follow his last wish. The @edmnangagwa group lied to all Zimbabweans on the reasons why they removed Mugabe all they wanted was power .Life has become worse after their operation restore legacy,” said Hwende.
Mangwana also said the government is willing to support and cooperate with the family to give Mugabe a fitting burial.
Mugabe will be buried on Saturday 28 September, according to family members.
