A Harare man has shocked the court after he claimed that his son pay 10rtgs school fees at his Primary school in Guruve.
The matter came to light at Harare Civil Court where the man Brian Mujeresesi was dragged to court by his ex-wife Fungi Muzenda who applied for mantainance of their 10 years old boy.
Mujeresesi who offered 30rtgs said he is not employed, so 30rtgs can be sufficient to cater for the child’s needs. He indicated that 10rtgs is for school fees and 20rtgs for food.
Muzenda denied the offer saying her ex-husband is a cross boarder and he owns a flea market in Kadoma. She also denied the amount of school fees which Mujeresesi had claimed.
“He is a cross boarder and the child school fees is $75 per term and child is not learning at Guruve as he said,” she said.
In her ruling, magistrate Sheila Nanzombe ordered Mujeresesi to pay $160 for the up keep of their minor child.
