Minister of Tourism Prisca Mupfumira under the Mnangagwa Administration has been arrested this morning on allegations of corruption over the National Social Security Authority (NSSA) scandal.
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) has confirmed that the sitting cabinet member is in their custody, assisting with the investigation though they could not divulge further detail.
Mopfumira returned from United Kingdom recently where she claimed to have had a successful trip intimating Zimbabweans in diaspora to consider investing back home and selling the brand Zimbabwe to the world. She also had accompanied the Zimbabwe Gems who represented the country in the just ended Netball World Cup.
