State owned media , Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) has unreservedly apologized for circulating a mockery picture of Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Deputy Chairperson Job ‘Wiwa’ Sikhala for putting on an undersized waistcoat.
“The ZBC tweeted a viral image of MDC MP Hon.Job Sikhala. We concede that it was beneath the dignity of a public broadcaster to join the light hearted social media banter over Hon. Sikhala’s entitled sartorial choices on that day. We sincerely apologise for the offence we caused,”
Wiwa was under fire over his small waistcoat wish raised eyebrows of Zimbabweans as they criticized him for fashion disorder.
It is alleged that the picture was photo shopped by social media users. Some claimed Sikhala had improved from his African attire shirts into formal suits.
