Zimpraise fills Harare Gardens

Zimpraise hosted a successful gospel show on Saturday in the Harare Gardens.

The event which was free for everyone attracted thousands of people. They recorded live season 11 DVD which is called “The New Commandment.”

They shared stage with Zimpraise kids, Mathias Mhere, Janet Manyowa , Sharon Manyonganise and Nyasha Mutonhori among others. Mathias Mhere performed songs from his current album and imitated the popular ‘kanjiva dance’ on one of his songs.

Zimpraise Choir performed their new songs such as Ndadzoka, There is a well, Riripo tsime and Ndimi simba rangu among others. Joseph Madziyire said he was happy with the huge turnout of people and the support he got from other local musicians.

“The event made me realize the power of gospel music and the 10 years we have invested in the brand. I always knew Zimpraise has so much support but I did not expect such a huge turnout.

“I was hurt when I saw some people being turned away because the venue was fully packed,” said Madziyire.

Zimpraise has performed at so many prestigious events and has toured around the world to places like America, Australia, United Kingdom, South Africa and Botswana. It has also hosted and been hosted by Bishop TD Jakes of the Potters house In Dallas, Bishop John Francis of Ruach Ministeries in London and Hillsong . They have also hosted the likes of Pastor Jabu Hlongwane, Sipho Makhabane, Zaza Mokhethi, Ntokozo Mbambo and Nqubeko Mbatha to mention a few .
